Lil Wayne Says He Has Unreleased Prince Music, and Millions of His Own Unheard Songs
He said the Prince songs came as a gift, and that he has written whole albums in two weeks on snowy mountains.

Lil Wayne says he has a stash of unreleased Prince music, and that his own pile of unheard songs runs into the millions.
It came up on The Joint Venture Show during a conversation with former Nickelodeon executive Kevin Kay. Craig Carton asked Wayne to take a wild guess at how many songs he has never put out.
"Oh man, that would be in the millions."
When Prince's name came up, Wayne made a reveal of his own.
"I have a lot of unreleased Prince music, too."
Wayne said the music was a gift from Fab, an engineer, and described it as a catalog with a bunch of unreleased Prince songs. Carton joked that he was learning things he didn't want to learn and said the two of them would talk after the show.
Wayne also explained where a lot of his own music gets made. He said snowy mountains get his mind going, because he grew up in New Orleans and never saw snow as a kid.
"I thought it didn't exist in reality."
He said he goes to Colorado a lot and spends about two weeks in a nice hotel with a great view. Asked what came out of those trips, he didn't name a song.
"I've written whole albums there."
Wayne did not say which Prince songs he has or whether any of them will ever be heard.
